Research interests: 19th and early 20th century African American intellectual history, 19 and 20th century African American women's social history, Radical Reconstruction
Mr. Thomas was a high school teacher for 16 years before joining the program. He is a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity and Phi Alpha Theta History Honors Society.
He has two beautiful daughters: Madisson Claire and Makenzie Noelle.
